Why are we doing this
There is a real need for big solutions for disaster relief in (South-East) Asia and there are no good solutions existing currently. We try to change this. Over the past few years I have thought of different projects related to disaster relief but I decided to focus on the logistics side of it, starting with the Philippines where most of the natural disasters occur.
Where are we
We are currently at Technical Readiness Level 3, meaning we have a clear need, a proposed business plan and technical concepts on paper with rough estimates. We now need to validate all three further with the help of NGOs, universities, professional experts, etc.
Universities
We have a proposed business plan generating revenue throughout the year and technical concepts for different scenarios and usecases. Both however (business plan and technical concepts) still need to be verified for which we look to collaborate with local universities.
Aviation Enthusiasts
Building UAVs require a team with competences from different areas of industry. We are looking for hot-air balloon builders, mechatronic and drone engineers, people who can work with carbon fiber materials and more. Reach out and become a team member!
NGO interested to help
We are still in the early stage so we still have a lot of questions regarding different details in disaster relief. Your help will be very valuable to optimize our concepts and business plan further, please feel free to contact us if you can help us.
Investors
We are still in early stage (TRL-3) but we feel it is never too early to get in touch with investors interested in this project. Feel free to reach out to me to discuss further how you can accelerate this project!
